To provide tangible support to this effort, the Accessible MIT guide was created through an informal community effort led by School of Engineering Staff Advice & Implementation Committee members in close collaboration with MIT’s Disabilities ERG. Disabilities access has been the primary focus. Because concepts that support an equitable and inclusive experience can be applied universally, additional elements of inclusion have been identified and incorporated.
